Our Nonprofit: DK Movement Cares
Our commitment extends beyond the organization through DK Movement Cares, empowering youth, families, and communities through access, opportunity, and support. Founded in 2023 by Kelly Houston, DK Movement Cares grew from a grassroots mission into a movement touching hundreds of lives across Connecticut. It's closely tied to DK Brand Collective, a Connecticut-based leadership and consulting firm, with a portion of DK Brand Collective's proceeds sustaining the nonprofit's programs.
Our impact includes launching an Annual 5K Run/Walk supporting the homeless, individuals with special needs, and youth development; partnering with shelters like St. Vincent de Paul and Agape Homeless Outreach; organizing holiday food drives with local pantries; delivering mentorship talks at youth centers like the Bristol Boys & Girls Club; and earning media recognition for community leadership. Every milestone reflects what's possible when businesses, nonprofits, and communities work together with intention and shared responsibility.
Our Spotlight
DK Movement Cares was able to raise $11,000 in support of the Bristol Special Olympicsand The Agape Housethis past Saturday with their inaugural 5K Run.
Community initiatives supported through DK Movement Cares are made possible in part through professional services provided by DK Brand Collective, a Connecticut-based leadership training and consulting firm.
