Meriden YMCA
Childcare Leadership Development.

In December 2025, the Meriden YMCA Childcare leadership team selected DK Brand Collective to help strengthen workplace culture through improved communication, leadership confidence, and team alignment. The goal wasn't just training, it was elevating how staff show up for one another, for leadership, and for the families and communities they serve.

The results spoke for themselves. In early 2026, Meriden YMCA signed a full one-year contract with DK Brand Collective, committing to ongoing leadership trainings, workshops, and one-on-one coaching across their childcare teams. That renewal isn't a formality, it's a signal that the work held.

Guided by our Desire, Drive, and Purpose (DDP) Framework, we delivered three leadership and communication trainings measured through pre- and post-training surveys, so leadership could see real behavioral progress, not just participation.

An Ongoing Partnership, Not a One-Time Training

DK Brand Collective maintains an active year-long partnership with Meriden YMCA, delivering structured leadership training, targeted one-on-one coaching, and culture alignment workshops throughout 2026. YMCA organizations can choose a structured training program, individual coaching for selected staff, or a combined approach designed for long-term culture development and sustained leadership growth.

One-on-One Coaching Results

As part of the ongoing Meriden YMCA partnership, selected staff also participated in one-on-one coaching with Derek Jones. After six weeks, participants reported practical growth in communication, self-awareness, workplace behavior, and confidence applying what they learned beyond the coaching sessions.
